Ashley’s appointment comes as part of a planned progression, with former CEO Theresa Lawson continuing to play a supporting role as Chair of the Board during this exciting new chapter for the business.
Ashley Meston’s journey with ESP Group spans over 18 years, starting as a Customer Service Advisor and progressing through several leadership roles to become COO. Throughout her career, she has driven major projects for high-profile clients such as Network Rail, Transport for London, and London Councils. Ashley’s leadership is guided by authenticity, integrity, and a collaborative approach, empowering her teams to achieve excellence.

This announcement comes at a significant moment for ESP Group, following a recent NHS contract win that has increased the company’s headcount by over 22%, from 450 to 550 employees. Combined with a strong set of financial results and a positive forecast for the year ahead, ESP Group is in a strong position for continued growth and success. Following Theresa’s acquisition of the business through a management buyout in 2023, ESP Group’s profit in the first year post acquisition was up 117%, and the current year’s projection will far exceed that.
